Privacy Policy
Marlboro Meadows Farm collects the information you submit through our contact, booking, and inquiry forms (name, email, phone, and message details) in order to respond to your request. With each submission we also record the date and time, the page you were on, your IP address, and your browser type, as the record of any text message consent you give.
How we measure the website
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use this site — which pages they visit, how long they stay, where they click and scroll, and roughly where in the world they are. Clarity does this by recording how the site is used, which means your visit may be replayed as an anonymous session so we can see what worked and what got in the way.
What you type into our forms is masked and is not sent to Clarity. The information we do receive is behavioural, not personal: we cannot tell who you are from it, and we do not try to. Clarity is provided by Microsoft, and their handling of that data is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Clarity sets cookies to recognise a repeat visit; if you are in the UK, EU or Switzerland it will not set them unless you have consented.
You can opt out at any time by turning on Do Not Track or a tracking blocker in your browser, and nothing on this site will stop working.
The live camera page
Our live camera page shows how many people are watching and how many have visited. To count you once rather than every time you reload, your browser stores a random number for us — it is not linked to your name, email, or anything else, and we could not identify you from it if we wanted to. Alongside it we keep how many times you have visited, how long the page has been open, and the town your internet connection appears to be in, which is why the page can say “your 3rd visit” or list the towns people are watching from. Clearing your browser storage resets all of it.
To work out the town, your IP address is sent to ipwhois.io once, the first time you visit. We store only the town and state it returns, never your IP address, and the page shows towns only as a combined count — never which visitor is where, and never who is watching at this moment.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to receive text messages from Marlboro Meadows Farm, we use your mobile number only to send the types of messages you agreed to receive (transactional messages about orders, pickups, and bookings, and — if you separately opted in — marketing messages about new products, seasonal availability, and farm events). We use Twilio to send and receive text messages.
Mobile information and SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver the messages.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@marlboromeadowsfarm.com or (732) 607-4422. See our SMS Terms for full program details.
What we never do
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services named above that are needed to run the site.
