Who we are
AworkingfamilyfarminMarlboro
Not a petting zoo with a gift shop. A real farm that happens to open its gate — where the animals you meet are the animals we raise, and the eggs you take home were laid that morning.
From the owners
It started as a family project
Marlboro Meadows Farm is run by Yan Chertok and Nataliya Yakovleva. It began the way most of these things begin — a few pasture-raised hens, a couple of dairy goats, and two beehives, kept for our own kitchen.
It grew. Today we're one of the few places in Monmouth County producing corn & soy-free pasture-raised eggs, raw local honey, fresh chicken processed on the farm, and farm-raised Australian Shepherd puppies.
We opened the gate to visitors for a simple reason: we wanted our neighbours to see exactly where their food comes from. It turned out our own children thought every day here was the best day of their lives, and it seemed unfair to keep that to ourselves.

What we do
Four things, done properly
We would rather do a short list well than a long one badly.
How we farm
The things we won't compromise on
Corn-free and soy-free
A certified-organic ration with neither in it. It costs several times commodity feed and the birds grow more slowly on it.
No antibiotics. Ever.
Not “only when sick” — none. Birds with space and fresh ground mostly stay healthy on their own.
Processed on the farm
Whole chickens are processed here, fresh never frozen, in monthly batches. No warehouse in between.
Cameras always on
Three live feeds, unedited, running around the clock. The easiest claim to check is the one you can watch.
What visitors say
Read what people actually wrote
We'd rather send you to the real reviews than pick our favourite lines out of them. Every one was left by someone who came out to the farm.
Live from the farm
Don't take our word for it
Come and meet everyone
Private visits, one group at a time. Or just call and ask what's ready this week — we pick up the phone.
