OUR STORY

It Started With One Simple Question: What Are We Actually Feeding Our Kids?

In 2023, Yan and Nataliya made a decision that most families talk about but never act on — they built a farm.

Not as a business. Not as a brand. As a commitment to knowing exactly where their family’s food comes from, how the animals are raised, and what goes into every egg on the table.

They started with a small flock, organic feed, and zero shortcuts. The eggs were unlike anything from a grocery store — rich deep-orange yolks, firm whites, real flavor. Friends and neighbors noticed. Word spread.

Today, with over 200 hens and a flock that grows every season — because we hatch our own chicks right here on the farm — Marlboro Meadows has enough to share with the Marlboro community. But the standard has never changed.

We raise every hen exactly the way we would if these eggs were only ever for our own family. Because for us, they still are.

Most “Farm Fresh” Eggs Aren’t. Ours Are.

Walk into any grocery store and you’ll find a dozen labels — cage-free, natural, farm-raised. Most mean very little. Here is exactly what our eggs actually are, and why it matters for your family. (See our full egg details on our) shop page.

Fed for Nutrition, Not Just Production

Our hens eat a carefully designed organic diet that most farms will not invest in — because it costs more and takes more attention.

We include organic flaxseed in every feeding to enrich our eggs with omega-3 fatty acids that support heart and brain health. We feed certified organic alfalfa year-round — including through winter months when pasture grass is unavailable — because alfalfa naturally increases vitamin A, vitamin K, lutein, and zeaxanthin levels in every yolk.

That is why our yolks are deep golden-orange. That is why the flavor is richer. That is why customers tell us they cannot go back to store eggs after trying ours. Learn more about how to order eggs.

“We raise these chickens the same way we would if we were producing food exclusively for our own family.”

We Hatch Our Own Chicks — Right Here on the Farm

Unlike farms that purchase grown hens in bulk, we raise ours from hatching. Every chick begins life on the same organic program they follow for life:

This means every hen in our flock has been on our nutritional standard from day one. No gaps. No shortcuts at any stage. As our flock grows each season, so does our supply. We currently produce 50+ eggs per day — and that number grows as each new batch of chicks matures. Order your eggs here.

Raw Honey, Straight From Our Hives

Our bees forage the same clean pastures our hens roam. No antibiotics. No added sugars. No heating that destroys natural enzymes.

Just raw, unfiltered honey — the way it is supposed to be. Available in limited quantities. Order honey online and pick up at the farm in Marlboro, NJ.
